In this sacred space, 2000 years of faith and tradition combine with modern technology to create a 21st Century hymn of praise to Almighty God. Like the great cathedrals of the world, the Cathedral of the Theotokos of Great Grace has drawn upon the artistic and engineering genius of its time to create a sacred worship space for the Christian assembly.
The Cathedral is the center of life for the Italo-Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas and Canada, the place where the great events in the life of the Church are celebrated. It is a place too where thousands of prayers are offered each year by the many visitors who find in the beauty of this church a spiritual oasis and refuge from the trials and cares of the world.
The Cathedral is an artistic and architectural poem evocative of the union between heaven and earth attained for us in Jesus Christ.
We welcome you to our home and hope that you will find peace, love and comfort within its walls. We invite you to make our home, your home and hope that you will visit us soon.
